Guía para comprar tu cocotte Le Creuset

Buying guide for your Le Creuset casserole

Le Creuset cast-iron casseroles are ideal for slow cooking and for preparing traditional recipes. We’ve often talked about them, but we’ve rarely discussed the different casseroles that exist—there are many—and I think it’s interesting to talk about which casserole is most ideal for each recipe. Casseroles are, by definition, versatile tools, but it can be helpful to know what each of the casseroles we have in the store is most appropriate for.

Tarta tatin de manzana

Apple Tarte Tatin

Carmen, whom you know from Yerbabuena en la Cocina, brings us a classic of French pastry that has become popular worldwide. As she says, the tarte Tatin is the queen of apple pies. Delicate, full of flavor and, contrary to what it may seem, very easy to prepare!

Korma de cordero (Guiso hindú en cocotte)

Lamb Korma (Indian stew in a casserole)

Loreto, author of Sabores de Colores, takes us into the world of spices and bold flavors. Korma is an Indian stew that you can make as she did, with lamb, or with other meats such as chicken, beef, or pork. The steps to follow will be the same, so I encourage you to make it with whatever you'll enjoy most, and discover how delicious it turns out!

Sopa de pescado

Fish soup

My mother often made fish soup for family meals, so it’s one of those dishes that always brings back very fond memories. It’s also an easy-to-prepare and very flavorful dish, so the recipe Miguel Ángel, author of the blog Pimientos verdes, brings us today is ideal for this time of year.

Lomo de cerdo al brandy

¡Feliz Navidad!

Merry Christmas!

As many of you know, a couple of months ago we opened our new offices. Here, a carpenter we knew worked the wood as it has always been done. This workshop, where we now have the offices, still conveys what it once meant and gives me the feeling that it largely inspires what we do, helping us convey this sense of craftsmanship — that we appreciate the traditional, and that we put care into what we do in the same way the carpenter put care into working the wood.
Becadas en cocotte sobre tosta de foie

Woodcock in casserole on foie gras toast

Today Virginia, from Sweet and Sour, brings us a delicious recipe that's worth trying not only for preparing woodcocks, but also for cooking any bird, with the touch of this sauce that is simply spectacular!
Ingredientes originales para las celebraciones de Navidad

Original ingredients for Christmas celebrations

As you know, a few weeks ago we opened the Pantry. It’s a section I’m particularly excited about, because we put a lot of care into selecting the products and suppliers. I think we have a good variety of ingredients that can be great for adding a different touch to everyday life or for saving for a special occasion.
