Laura Ashley
In the mid-1950s, Laura was inspired by an exhibition of traditional fabrics at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London to create fabrics and clothing handcrafted at home. Within a few years, she opened her first store, and the name Laura Ashley became synonymous with quintessential traditional English design.
