At Claudia&Julia, we have always kept our commitment to the planet very much in mind. From day one, we have not only focused on offering high-quality products, but also on doing so in a way that is environmentally responsible. We believe every small gesture counts, and over the years we have implemented several initiatives to reduce our environmental impact, promote responsible consumption, and care for natural resources.
Below, we share some of the actions we take on our journey toward a more sustainable store, because we are convinced that together we can make a difference.
Long-lasting utensils
A benchmark store for 100% durable pansAt Claudia&Julia, you won't find short-lived plastic gadgets. We focus on quality products that stay with you for years. From the very beginning, we have encouraged our customers to invest in iron and stainless steel pans, durable for life, thus avoiding unnecessary waste.
100% recyclable packaging
0 plastics in our shipmentsFrom the start, we have used recyclable packaging and avoided bubble wrap or plastic materials. We have invested in machines to recycle boxes, which we use as inner protection in shipments, and we use recyclable, non-plastic tape.
Reforestation projects
Carbon-neutral shipping on all ordersFor some time now, the store has implemented a policy to offset the carbon emissions generated during the shipping process. We collaborate on reforestation and renewable energy projects, achieving carbon-neutral shipping on all orders. Because sending an order should not come at a cost to the planet.
We avoid duplicate shipments
Fewer boxes, less CO₂We try to combine orders whenever possible to avoid duplicate shipments, which mean twice as many boxes, transport, and CO₂ emissions.
