Sabatier® was born in Thiers in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, France. The company, founded by Philippe Sabatier in the early 19th century, specializes in the manufacturing of high-quality forged knives and is currently in its eighth generation of family ownership. A true tradition.
Since 2021, Sabatier® has been a part of the De Buyer group (Le Brigade De Buyer), allowing it to maintain its high standards of quality and the tradition of forging and manufacturing, inherited from previous generations of master cutlers.
