Waffles with peanut butter
There's nothing like waking up to the smell of freshly made waffles. Making waffles is like making pancakes, you never make enough and if on top of that they are a different flavor then it's one of the best ways to start the day, although I'll tell you that at home they're liked just as much in the morning as in the afternoon.
Cornmeal waffles with blueberry compote

Breton galettes
Today is Crêpe Day and Miriam, the Winter Guest, brings us what the French call galette complète: a crêpe with cheese, ham and egg. An explosive combination to delight your loved ones with a truly Breton dinner. Happy day!

Pancakes or chestnut pancakes
Surely many of you have heard of the traditional American pancakes, although here we usually refer to them as tortitas or panqueques. They are a kind of flat, sweet bread, or you can also think of them as a small-diameter, thicker crêpe.
