Recipes with eggs
You will have to excuse me, the title of the post is neither tricky nor cardboard: today I bring you a lot of recipes for your lunches and dinners with eggs, lots of eggs!
What am I talking about? It turns out that every second Friday of October (in this case, precisely today October 11), is International Egg Day, and we have a lot of recipes to celebrate it... And enjoy it at the table!
Onion soup
Autumn has arrived, or at least that's what the calendar says, so dinners arrive at home where soups and creams begin to take center stage. Today's recipe, the traditional onion soup recipe, is one of the star recipes at home, and best of all, it's very easy to make, but it's one hundred percent comforting!
Waffles with peanut butter
Nothing like dawn to the smell of freshly made waffles. Making waffles is like making pancakes, you can never make enough and if they have a different flavor on top of that, then it is one of the best ways to start the day, although I will tell you that at home they like them just the same in the morning as in the afternoon.
Cornmeal waffles with blueberry compote
Today we propose another easy waffle recipe, but this time based on cornmeal (which you can substitute for gluten-free flour to make gluten-free waffles). We suggest you accompany it with a blueberry jam that gives it contrast and flavor. Delicious waffles for breakfast!
coke bread
This type of bread is very similar to crystal bread. It is a slightly flattened bread, with a very thin and crunchy crust, accompanied by a very light and airy crumb . Undoubtedly the perfect option to use as an accompaniment or to enjoy as a coca base. For example, using the same ingredients that we use to make Coca de Recapte .
Iberian cheeks, video recipe with Claudia and Chef Rafa
You know how we like to use the cocotte. From preparing soups and creams to making rice, making a good and hearty bean stew or stew, preparing stews, cooking a thousand and one fish recipes or, of course, preparing meats a tutti pleni with very little effort. That's where we're going today!
Calatrava bread
Related to the family of flans and puddings , Calatrava bread may be one of the easiest recipes to prepare and at the same time most appreciated. Its basic ingredients could not be more: milk, eggs and sugar, to which is added a part of pastries or bread (hence its name) as the main characteristic. Come on, a classic egg flan only with a prize. Doesn't look bad at all, does it?
2 recipes to make in bundt pans: Grapefruit Bundt cake and Cider Bundt!
Today we bring you a double portion of bundts: to celebrate the arrival of the new Crystel and Magnolia molds from Nordic Ware, we bring you two recipes that you will surely take advantage of: the recipe for a grapefruit bundt cake, which if you prefer you can substitute orange (Or even lemon!), and get a delicious citrus cake: and the recipe for an apple cider and bourbon bundt that will delight at home.
Rabbit stew with mushrooms and chestnuts in a slow cooker
Although it is difficult for the islands to arrive in autumn and almost that summer and “winter” come together, we do like to prepare dishes worthy of this season in which we are entering.
And it is that it is a season in which they already feel like those comforting stews in which to dip bread and also have the possibility of adding seasonal ingredients such as chestnuts or even mushrooms.
Vegetable Quiche
You already know how much we like quiche or savory cakes at Claudia&Julia. We have them in all colors, sizes and flavors, but we are not satisfied. Today's is a new recipe with which to expand the list and which is great to have on hand for when we want to leave meat and fish aside. Something that, we can assure you, you are not going to miss when you sink your teeth into this vegetable quiche. It is tasty, juicy delicious. In a word: tremendous.
Chocolate recipes!
Today, September 13, is International Chocolate Day. I think we will agree that this food of the Gods deserves a tribute, or at least this post: a compilation of chocolate recipes to make you smile.
toffee panna cotta
Summer is behind us, but there are still days when we feel like having cold desserts. I already have my bundt moulds ready to bake hard this autumn, but I am also using them for other preparations, such as today's: a pannacotta, which is a dessert with a texture similar to flan, very silky and really delicious. There are different versions of pannacotta: from the simplest, with vanilla, to more sophisticated ones.
