Fried milk (traditional recipe)
Meatballs in carrot sauce
Roast turkey with chestnuts and mushrooms
Chicken with olives and candied lemon
A cocotte is to the kitchen as a white shirt is to your closet. A basic that allows you to prepare stews and roasts, creams, soups and purees; that can go over fire or in the oven. In short, it is a very versatile and highly durable casserole.
With this casserole I have prepared a wonderful traditional Moroccan recipe: Chicken with preserved olives and lemons. It is a simple but splendid stew that takes little time to prepare.
Squid with onions and sobrassada
Recipes with eggs
You will have to excuse me, the title of the post is neither tricky nor cardboard: today I bring you a lot of recipes for your lunches and dinners with eggs, lots of eggs!
What am I talking about? It turns out that every second Friday of October (in this case, precisely today October 11), is International Egg Day, and we have a lot of recipes to celebrate it... And enjoy it at the table!
Iberian cheeks, video recipe with Claudia and Chef Rafa
You know how we like to use the cocotte. From preparing soups and creams to making rice, making a good and hearty bean stew or stew, preparing stews, cooking a thousand and one fish recipes or, of course, preparing meats a tutti pleni with very little effort. That's where we're going today!
Marinated chicken in salad with mango, goat cheese and walnuts
Anyone else around here who eats salads during the summer? And someone else who at the end of July no longer has new ideas and ends up always eating the same salad? And I recognize that having a varied repertoire and to the taste of the whole family is not always easy, that's why I try different salads and those that I like the most at home I keep to share with you. And, what do you want me to tell you, this pickled chicken salad with mango, goat cheese and walnuts has gone out the front door!!
Thai Monkfish Cocotte
I love trying new recipes. At home they always reproach me for not making that milk bread with that tender crumb or that banana ice cream that turned out so delicious. Sometimes I try so many things that I forget to cook the everyday and simple.
Leg of lamb with cherries and pine nuts
When spring arrives, we are going to take advantage of the cherries that we are beginning to see in the market. In this recipe, boneless lamb is stuffed full of flavor and served with a thick sauce with intense cherry and wine flavors. You'll love it!
Panna cotta with strawberry sauce
The panna cotta (which is nothing more than "cooked cream" in Italian), is typical of Italian Piedmont. It is one of those desserts that always go well and that everyone likes.
One of the advantages it has is that it does not need an oven, a saucepan and a little heat work wonders in this dessert that has a thousand and one versions. Its texture is similar to that of flan, but here we do not use eggs or oven as I have told you before, so the preparation process is quite simplified.
White Chocolate Berry Cheesecake
The cheesecake that we bring today is super creamy, you have been warned. Also, the creamy ricotta combined with sweet berries and white chocolate is a perfect match that you are sure to love.
This is a delicious dessert, also ideal to accompany tea or a good coffee in the afternoon.
