Crumble de nectarinas

Nectarine Crumble

In summer we all feel like going out more and we spend more time enjoying the countryside or the hills, the beach or the city. But we also want to host and organize dinners with friends or family and this Nectarine Crumble is perfect as a dessert. It's perfect because it's easy, quick and delicious.

Pan de plátano

Banana Bread

And I'm sure it has happened to all of us at some point: buying bananas and everyone at home deciding they don't want to eat them that week… And the poor things just sit in the fruit bowl looking very unappetizing. Well, this banana bread is undoubtedly the solution!

Mantequilla de romero y albahaca

Rosemary and basil butter

I love herbs; I use them for almost everything in the kitchen. Some, like basil, I can't get year-round, while others I always have available in a pot… like rosemary.

In general, herbs are usually sold in trays that contain more than we'll need. Many times, just as happens with bunches of parsley, the herbs end up spoiling inside the refrigerator.

Bizcocho de limón al vapor

}

You can steam super-fluffy sponge cakes. You can do this either in a pressure cooker or in other utensils designed for steaming. In this case, we will show you how to do it in the WMF Olla Vitalis.

Tarta de lima

Lime Tart

It's no secret that I like to cook. I love getting into the kitchen and spending hours at the stove and oven, but I also enjoy making easy recipes like this lime tart. Because I don't always have the time, the inclination, or it's unbearably hot and the last thing I consider is turning on the oven. For those moments it's perfect to have easy ideas up your sleeve and this is one of them.

Cómo hacer barritas de cereales (¡Con receta!)

How to Make Granola Bars (With Recipe!)

If you were wondering how to make homemade bars you'll love reading this post (and the mold Mastrad has released!). Cereal bars are tasty, healthy, provide energy and are a perfect food to take everywhere (to work, to school, for when you're exercising or simply to carry in your bag to snack mid-morning). Also, if you make the bars at home, you can control the amount of sugars and the quality of the ingredients, and they have that extra "I made them myself" factor, which is always an added pleasure—you can't deny it.

Tocinillos de cielo

Tocinillos de Cielo (Spanish egg-yolk custards)

When Claudia suggested I prepare a recipe with the Ilsa flan molds, I immediately replied that I wanted to make my tocinillos de cielo. They are such an exquisite and delicate bite that I wanted to show you how to make them at home. And the thing is, whenever I serve them at a gathering, they’re a hit.

Cobbler de chocolate

Chocolate cobbler

You're probably wondering first: Where's the fruit? I asked myself the same the first time I saw this dessert. A cobbler is a dessert with a base of caramelized fruit covered by a layer of cookie dough or shortcrust pastry and baked. This dessert has nothing to do with the classic cobbler, but that's what they call it.

Pudin de dátiles con salsa de tofe

Date pudding with toffee sauce

Back in the Second World War, two Canadian officers were staying at a hotel in the northeast of England, where they handed the recipe for a pudding to the hotel's owner; and it makes sense what they tell us about its origin being Canadian rather than English, since the batter is more like that of an American muffin than that of a delicate, spongy English cake. I'm talking about the delicious sticky toffee pudding.

Flan de coco

Coconut flan

You don't think a pressure cooker is only for steaming vegetables, do you? Because far from that, the pressure cooker lets you cook meats until they're tender and excellent in record time, lets you make stews with a fabulous blend of flavors, you can steam fish for a very healthy option, you can make delicious cakes (yes — cakes turn out great in a steam cooker!), and you can also make delicious flans like the one we bring you today, the coconut flan recipe. Among many other things, of course.

Coca de panadero tradicional

Traditional baker's coca

The coca de forner or baker's coca is a flat, elongated bread very typical in Catalonia that was originally made with plain bread dough, brushed with olive oil, topped with pine nuts and sugar, and sprinkled with anise as it came out of the oven. Simple and very effective.

Trucos para hacer galletas perfectas

Tips for making perfect cookies

Did you know homemade cookies can last up to a month in perfect condition if you store them properly? That is, as long as you don't get distracted and the little ones (or some older kid in the house... ahem!) don't play mouse and eat them first.

Baking cookies is one of my favorite pleasures. It's easy and also quick, since the dough requires very little mixing and the baking takes little time (about 15 minutes). Kids enjoy it too, you make sure to eat quality ingredients and, if you make them in batches, you have reserves for days.
