Our friend Laura, fromgastroblog Because, surprises us using theyogurt maker multidelicesto make some delicious individual cheesecake desserts. Or did you think the yogurt maker was only for making yogurts? It can do so much more!

It's wonderful to come home after a hot day and know there's a creamy, refreshing dessert like this waiting for you in the fridge... the little clink the spoon makes when you eat it and how your hand cools from holding the jar... mmm... At home we make great use of theyogurt maker multidelices by Tefal, since besides always having homemade plain yogurt, we also get inspired to prepare special desserts. These little cheesecakes with tocino de cielo are incredible — they have a delicious flavor that won't leave you indifferent. Give them a try!

Ingredients:

For the tocino de cielo:

  • Liquid caramel 130 gr egg yolks (approx. 8 yolks)
  • 370gr condensed milk

For the cream cheese layer:

  • 250gr cream cheese (Philadelphia-style)
  • 1 plain yogurt
  • 2-3 tablespoons of powdered sugar (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 sheets of unflavored gelatin
  • a little water
  • and lemon juice to dissolve the gelatin

Preparation:

For the tocino de cielo with theyogurt maker multidelices(6 jars):

  1. Pour the caramel into the bottom of the jars and set aside.
  2. Mix the yolks well and add the condensed milk. Mix thoroughly and fill the jars about halfway.
  3. Fill the base of the yogurt maker with water up to the mark and set the desserts function for 25 minutes. When finished, uncover and wait for it to cool slightly. Set aside.

For the cream cheese layer:

  1. Mix the cream cheese, yogurt, honey, and sugar until creamy.
  2. Heat the water and lemon juice on the stove, add the gelatin and remove when it dissolves. Wait for it to cool a bit and pour it through a strainer into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Whisk with a hand whisk and fill the jars with the mixture.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before consuming.

Notes:Tocino de cielo can be prepared in the traditional way by replacing the condensed milk with water (125 gr.) and sugar (250 gr.). If you don't have the yogurt maker, you can do it in glass jars and place them in a bain-marie until a skewer comes out set.

Hola Aida,

Jajaja…no sé si lo he entendido bien!
Gracias!!
