Let's make a feast on the table! Today I'm not bringing you a recipe as such, but original ideas to enjoy a chocolate fondue in different ways, as God intended, in a big way! The truth is that making a chocolate fondue is very simple and fun, and we couldn't wait any longer to bring you some ideas that we believe are not very popular. Let's see what you think!

We cannot deny that the discovery of what we bring you here is motivated by the Choco Fondue Marie by Boska . It has opened up a world of possibilities for us when it brings us a fondue to enjoy at a very affordable price, and exactly the same applies to the traditional fondue, in which you can make both chocolate and traditional cheese fondues.

Thanks to the double porcelain wall of the Fondue Marie (isn't that name lovely?), the chocolate melts perfectly in a bain-marie, maintaining the ideal temperature, so the chocolate will not burn or become bitter. You will be able to enjoy a creamy and perfect fondue for much longer.

How to prepare a chocolate fondue?

First of all, prepare the fondue set , with the outer container filled with water and the candle lit. Then, use your hands to break up the chocolate, either dark chocolate for a more intense flavour, or milk chocolate for a milder flavour. Add half a cup of whole milk, and optionally, you can add a teaspoon of butter to give it a creamier texture and flavour.

Stir gently until the chocolate is completely melted and you get a homogeneous texture. When you see a melted and homogeneous chocolate, it will be time to enjoy it.

How to prepare special chocolate fondues

To make your chocolate fondue taste different and special, play around with flavours and try different chocolate fondues. To do this, add vanilla extract or orange extract or mint extract while the chocolate is melting, and keep stirring well.

You can also try making a more sophisticated fondue: you can add a spoonful of your favorite hazelnut, almond, orange or even coffee liqueur .

To enjoy fondue, it is common to prepare pieces of bread or toast cut into bite-sized pieces, and of course what cannot be missing are some small plates or a board with pieces of seasonal fruit, you will see that it is a great source of vitamins, minerals and fiber.

If you want to avoid serving fondue with the classic toast, I encourage you to bring waffles or waffle cookies to the table . They go great together and are very easy to eat. There are also other types of cookies, there are many that go fabulously with chocolate (not to dare say "all").

This November, you can find delicious grapes, pears and mandarins to mix with chocolate! Pears will also look great. In this fruit presentation, you can never miss the sliced banana or strawberries when we talk about chocolate fondue (of course!), but I'm sure you already know that.

And there is another food that combines perfectly with chocolate and with which you can surprise someone, corn on the cob : grill some corn on the cob and bring them to the table, you will see that if you use a spoon to pour some chocolate on top of them, you will be the God of the party.

If you fancy adding a casual touch, or there are kids at the party, also have the classic marshmallows . I promise you that skewering one of these, whether roasted or not, and covering it in chocolate is a pleasure that we don't always dare to try, but it's delicious (and a chocolate fondue is the ideal time to do it without having to think about what the person watching us will think).

To finish, you can serve the dark chocolate fondue with a glass of wine on the side. I assure you that it will be a wonderful explosion of flavours.

At Christmas, you can make the same recipe by adding mandarin extract and marzipan pieces . This is a very popular recipe from Scandinavian countries.

The Choco Marie fondue is a great temptation, because it is so cute with its double body. But the double body is designed for making a bain-marie, and that is not what people usually look for. If you simply want a fondue, thinking of heating the chocolate with other traditional methods, then you should consider the traditional Boska Fondue , it is ideal for sharing between 2 or 3 people, and you can make both chocolate and cheese fondues , without any limitations.
