It is very interesting to analyze the products that have attracted the most interest over the course of the year. What makes me very happy about 2016 is seeing that there is a strong trend toward healthier, more natural products, and without a doubt also toward everything made at home. I leave you with the Top 8 trends of the year:
1. Cast iron pans
The concern about eating healthily has been a trend for some time now, but we also care about the utensils we cook with. Hence the resounding success of the De Buyer cast iron pans: they are a fabulous option that many people have chosen this year. Cast iron pans are a very healthy option, perfect for making fried foods, griddle cooking, and all kinds of stir-fries; they are free of nonstick coatings and other chemicals, and are designed to last a lifetime in your kitchen.

2. Vegetable spiralizer
This year we have made it clear that we want to eat well, but also that it should be visually appealing. Both the Spirelli spiralizer (also in its XL version) and the Gefu Spiralfix have established themselves as effective and very practical items for preparing beautiful and delicious salads (greens, rice, pasta...) and stir-fries without complications and in a flash.

3. Chemex coffee maker
The Chemex is the queen of the slow life we are so strongly advocating, as well as the coffee maker used to prepare some of the best coffee in the world, with no residue or acidity, thanks to its special filters for perfect filtration.

4. Tokyo Design Studio bowls and mugs
The beautiful designs and colors of Tokyo Design have become hugely popular this year, as they offer superior quality at super-affordable prices. Their success has not only come from the combination of good quality and a good price, but also from a strong desire to enjoy every moment at home to the fullest: their bowls and mugs make any breakfast or meal more cheerful and any table more beautiful.

Among the most highly valued designs are the Nippon Blue collection and Star Wave as fresher, younger options, and the Fleur de Ligne line as the more elegant choice.
5. Ovens for making bread at home
I am convinced that you have not missed the fact that making bread at home is in fashion. And it is an absolutely delicious trend, which I hope lasts forever. Making your own bread not only ensures that you know what ingredients you use, but it is also a true pleasure: the small effort it takes more than pays off. In addition, the pleasure of eating your own bread is second to none. That is why, among this year's Top list, there are the Emile Henry ceramic bread ovens: they create moisture conditions inside that guarantee a crispy crust and a fluffy crumb. They are truly amazing!

6. Pans for stovetop and oven
Both the Le Creuset Skillet cast iron pan and the Bra Infinity nonstick pan have stood out this year because, unlike other conventional pans, they can go in the oven. This feature lets you cook as usual on the stovetop and finish the dish with a quick gratin or browning in the oven. You can make sweet recipes like a tarte tatin, or cook full oven recipes in a beautiful pan that you can then serve straight to the table.

7. Bundt pans
American baking has brought with it something we are definitely fans of: bundt-style pans. With them, you can make beautiful cakes with no more effort than pouring your batter into them instead of a traditional pan, and the result is truly eye-catching. It is said of Nordic Ware that it has the best bundt pans in the world, and its reputation has certainly spread, making these pans already a fixture in the homes of almost everyone who loves sweet recipes.

8. Pallarès knives
Another standout trend this year is artisanal products. Pallarès iron knives have been one of the clearest examples of this, since their fame has not only spread throughout the country but has crossed borders and they are now an icon in much of Europe, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and so many other countries around the world. Their success? The combination of an excellent cut with a beautiful look thanks to their boxwood handle, and a price that is more than accessible to every budget (even more so if you know it will last a lifetime in your kitchen drawer).
