Today Beatriz, author of To Be Gourmet , brings us a recipe that is super easy to make and that all the kids will surely enjoy: yogurt cookies and Oreo cookies. The most delicious and creamy popsicles!
If I'm becoming demanding with ice creams and always choose the artisanal ones, made with real milk, real fruit and without colorants or additives, with popsicles I'm on the same line, and since we have the Zoku t-shirt at home, and with this one it's already two summers, I have it very easy.
The best thing about it is that when the kids are on holiday and at home, they make them themselves, as it is so simple that you don't need to help them. It is true that the most basic ones are made with juice or yoghurt, but my thirteen-year-old daughter is already starting to make drawings with bits of things and she is... happy!
We made these Oreo popsicles together and in exchange I asked her to pose for you. You're going to love them.
Zoku Quick Pop triple refrigerator
Ingredients
- 3 sweetened Greek yogurts
- 50ml whole milk
- A package of Oreo cookies
Preparation
- Keep the ZOKU ice cream maker in the freezer for at least 24 hours before making the popsicles (I always have it).
- In a bowl, mix the milk with the yogurt and stir .
- Break up some Oreo cookies into caps to decorate (you can't put them in whole because the stick wouldn't fit), and set aside others to make cookie crumbs in a mortar .
- To make the Oreo-layered popsicle (pictured above): Pour in some of the yogurt mixture, then sprinkle on some Oreo powder, add more yogurt and make another layer of chopped biscuit, finishing with yogurt. Insert the stick, wait seven minutes and remove from the mold.
- For the Oreo cookie popsicle in the center (bottom photo): pour a little yogurt on the bottom, wait 3 minutes for it to solidify a little, insert the cookie (just one lid) sticking it to one of the sides of the mold (with the letters upside down). Hold it with your finger while you pour the yogurt, release and insert the stick. Finish with a layer of crushed cookie mixed with a little yogurt so that the mixture freezes. Wait 5 more minutes and remove from the mold.

You can make more variants based on Oreo cookies:
- Adding pieces instead of the whole cookie is also very cool.
- Or if you want to put it in whole, the option is to fill the mould with yoghurt, insert the stick and put in the whole biscuit but in pieces so that they are distributed around it without disturbing it.
- You can also mix the yogurt with oreo powder and stir; it will give a fun speckled look.
The Zoku popsicle maker allows you to make very basic and simple popsicles, or to let your imagination run wild and create real wonders, the limit is set by you. Of course, you will always know that no matter how sophisticated they are, all the ingredients are natural and homemade.
