Discover the most delicious and varied slush and frozen drink recipes! Whether you've already gotten the Slushi Ninja slush maker or you're thinking about getting one, you're sure to be eager to see and try countless recipes with it. Cola slushes, lemon slushes, iced coffees and frappés, frozen chocolate smoothies... In this post you'll find 15 recipes with the Ninja Slushi!

The Slushi Ninja slush and frozen drink maker is super easy to use: basically you just have to add a drink to the container... and it will slush it for you! That's why you can enjoy delicious frozen fruit juices with it (pineapple slush, peach slush...), you can turn sodas into slush (cola, orange...) or freeze coffees and smoothies to refresh your summer with great pleasure. You have to see it in action! On the page of our beloved Slushi you'll see some videos to get an idea.

That said, let's go with some varied and delicious recipes to make with your slush machine!

IMPORTANT NOTE: All recipes in this post are designed to yield approximately 1.3L of slush, which is enough to serve about 5 portions (5 glasses). You can easily adapt the recipes by adjusting the quantities for more or fewer servings.

Recipes with the Slushi Ninja frozen drink machine

1) Cola Slush or ANY COMMON SODA

PREPARATION: Add 1 L of Coca Cola to the Slushi reservoir (for about 4 glasses), and start the Slush program. In about 30 minutes it's ready to serve (when the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the Slushi will beep three times). Serve immediately.

Instead of Cola, you can use:

  • Orange soda (like Fanta Orange or Aquarius Orange),
  • lemon/lime soda (like Fanta or Aquarius lemon or lime),
  • pomegranate sodas, or Aquarius or Trina red fruit sodas.
  • ginger ale (such as Schweppes Ginger Ale),
  • any sweetened soda, such as: Sprite, 7Up Schweppes Lemon, Kas Orange / Lemon, Trina Orange / Lemon, Fanta strawberry, Nestea, Minute Maid...
TIP 1: To know how much liquid to add to the machine, add the liquid using the glass you'll serve it in. Thus, add as many glasses of liquid as servings you want to serve, and you have the desired amount (always add half a glass or 1 extra glass more than you should... just in case someone wants seconds).

2) Iced Frappé Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

700 ml whole milk, cold

2 tablespoons whipping cream

700 ml black coffee, cold

120 g powdered sugar

PREPARATION:

  1. In a large container, whisk all the ingredients until well combined and the sugar has completely dissolved. Pour the mixture into the Slushi Ninja.
  2. Select FRAPPÉ (FRAPPÉ)
  3. When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately.

Top with whipped cream and chocolate or caramel sauce. Addictive! TIP 2:

The presets for each program are ideal, but everyone can create their slush to taste. To get your ideal texture for each recipe, use the temperature control to adjust it to your preference (if you want a coarser or finer slush, lower or raise the temperature using the machine's cold indicator).

3) Frozen Lemonade SlushINGREDIENTS:

1400 ml lemonade, cold. To prepare it you will need:

3–4 large lemons

1 liter very cold water

80–100 g sugar (adjust to taste)

  1. PREPARATION:
  2. Squeeze the lemons and pour the juice into the liter of water. Add the sugar and mix well. You now have fresh lemonade!
  3. Strain the drink with a sieve..
  4. Pour the lemonade into the Slushi and select the FROZEN JUICE program.

When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately.Suggestion:

serve the lemon slush by decorating the glass with a lemon slice hanging on the rim. Another thing I love to do with acidic drinks (before adding the liquid to the glass) is run a lemon slice around the rim, then invert the glass onto a plate with sugar. This creates that pretty sugared rim for presentation and makes it look very tempting. Once the glass has the sugared rim, fill it carefully with the slush to keep the rim intact.

4) Lemon and Orange Slush

INGREDIENTS:

1 L sweetened lemonade (see the previous recipe to make it)

500 ml strained orange juice

Optional: you can sweeten the slush further by adding one or two tablespoons to the orange juice until dissolved.

  1. PREPARATION:
  2. Pour both juices into the Slushi container.
  3. Select SLUSH. If desired, adjust the temperature.

When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately.

5) Frozen Chocolate Milkshake

INGREDIENTS:

1 liter whole milk

500 ml whipping cream (min. 35% fat)

2 teaspoons vanilla extract (approx. 10 ml)

50 g white sugar

120 ml chocolate syrup

20 g cocoa powder

  1. PREPARATION:
  2. In a bowl, whisk all ingredients until well mixed and the sugar, chocolate syrup, and cocoa powder are completely dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into the Slushi Ninja tub and select the MILKSHAKE option. The program will start at the default temperature.

When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately. You’ll definitely wow guests if you serve it in cups or glasses topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

SUGGESTION:

Before filling the glasses you can drizzle chocolate syrup inside (it's decorative and fun for anyone who wants to scoop the last bit of syrup with a spoon!). On top of the slush you can top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup, but other options are dulce de leche or salted caramel, sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa powder, add a biscuit, colored chocolate shavings or some Lacasitos for kids... If you're going to enjoy it, do it properly!TIP 3: When you use the Milkshake or Frappé

programs, serve the contents within 30 minutes after the program finishes to avoid excess foam.

6) Lower-Sugar Chocolate Milkshake Slush

Simply replace the sugar with erythritol in the previous recipe. You can also use allulose. And you can replace the chocolate syrup with a low-sugar chocolate syrup.

7) Frozen Strawberry Milkshake

INGREDIENTS:

1 liter whole milk

500 ml whipping cream (minimum 35% fat)

10 ml vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)

50 g white sugar

120 ml strawberry syrup

  1. PREPARATION:
  2. In a large bowl or blender, mix all ingredients until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the Slushi Ninja and select the MILKSHAKE program.

When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately, with whipped cream and strawberry syrup on top if desired.

SUGGESTIONS:

You can replace the sugar with a few tablespoons of condensed milk. It adds sweetness and a delicious flavor touch.

When serving, you can decorate with strawberry syrup, salted caramel, chocolate sprinkles, add a ladyfinger or a piece of cake. Heaven!

8) Pineapple Slush:INGREDIENTS: 1200 pineapple juice (can be store-bought; if you want to make it fresh at home, you can follow this recipe ).

here

When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature When the slush is ready, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately. A super refreshing drink!

9) Chocolate Milkshake Slush (Cola Cao slush)

INGREDIENTS:

125 g cocoa powder for hot chocolate (Cola Cao or Nestquick)

1.200 ml whole milk

250 ml whipping cream (minimum 35% fat)

NOTE: No need to add sugar because the cocoa powder already contains it.

  1. PREPARATION:
  2. In a bowl, whisk all ingredients until well combined and the cocoa powder is fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into the Ninja Slushi and select the MILKSHAKE program.

When the frozen drink is ready, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately, with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top if you like, chocolate shavings or, to fulfill kids' dreams, add some marshmallows for decoration).

500 ml whipping cream (minimum 35% fat)

10 ml vanilla extract (equivalent to 2 teaspoons)

70 g white sugar

60 ml black coffee* (1 long coffee or 2 espressos, depending on how strong you want it)

NOTE: You can replace the 60 ml of coffee with prepared instant coffee: mix 1 or 2 teaspoons of instant coffee with about 50 ml hot water, and let cool.

  1. PREPARATION:
  2. In a bowl, whisk all ingredients until well combined and the sugar and coffee are fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the mixture into the Ninja Slushi and select the MILKSHAKE program.

When the frozen drink is ready, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately, with whipped cream if you want to decorate.

SUGGESTION:

With the temperature setting you can achieve a coarser slush or a fine coffee slush (see example photos).

When serving, you can accompany with whipped cream if you like — it works especially well with finer slushes.

11) Piña Colada Slush (alcoholic recipe)

INGREDIENTS:

1.200 ml piña colada mix*

250 ml coconut rum

*NOTE: You can find Piña Colada Mix in cocktail sections at supermarkets. If you want to make it at home or substitute it, you can mix: 750 ml pineapple juice + 400 ml cream of coconut (not coconut milk, but cream, like "Coco López" or similar) + 1 or 2 tablespoons sugar

  1. PREPARATION:Pour both ingredients (the 2 drinks) into the Slushi tub, and start the
  2. FROZEN COCKTAIL.

When the drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately and decorate to taste. 12) Kombucha Slush

INGREDIENTS: As many cups of kombucha as shakes you are going to serve.

PREPARATION:

  1. Pour the kombucha into the Slushi container.
  2. Select SLUSH.

PREPARATION:

  1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined and the caramel is fully dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into the Slushi tub.
  3. Select the FRAPPÉ program. The setting will start at the default temperature, but it's interesting to adjust the temperature control until 3 bars light up.
  4. When the drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately and decorate to taste (with whipped cream, syrup, salted caramel...).

SUGGESTION: You can foam milk for decoration. If you add a little coffee to it it will come out with a beautiful brown tone. Keep in mind the foam will dissipate quickly in the slush, make sure to get a dense foam... otherwise use whipped cream.

14) Caramel Milkshake Frozen Drink

INGREDIENTS:

1 liter whole milk

500 ml whipping cream (minimum 35% fat)

10 ml vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)

50 g sugar

120 ml caramel syrup

  1. In a bowl, whisk all ingredients until well combined and the sugar and syrup are fully dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into the Slushi Ninja and select the MILKSHAKE program.
  3. When the drink is ready, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately, with whipped cream if you want to decorate.

SUGGESTION:

Drizzle caramel syrup in a zigzag around the inside of the glass before adding the frozen drink.

You can present it topped with whipped cream.

15) Frosé Slush (Rosé wine slush or frozen rosé wine, alcoholic recipe)

INGREDIENTS:

  4. Pour the mixture into the Slushi tub and select FROZEN COCKTAIL.
When the frozen drink reaches the optimal temperature, the unit will beep three times. Serve immediately. You can garnish or serve with extra strawberries.

I hope you found drinks in this Slushi recipe collection that you're dying to try. Personally, I just hope they inspire you and become the start of a special relationship with the Ninja slush maker, because there's one thing you can't forget: with the Slushi slush maker it's very easy to try new drinks, basically because you can freeze virtually any drink with it, taking into account:

  • The drinks you add must be completely liquid (that is, if you add juices or smoothies, make sure you have properly strained them and that they have a liquid texture).
  • They must contain a minimum of 5 g of sugar per 100 ml of drink (which is a very low sugar amount, but watch out for light or artificially sweetened drinks).
  • If making alcoholic drinks (if you make a frozen cocktail using the Frozen Cocktail function), all ingredients must contain between 2.8% and 16% alcohol.

Go for these recipes and try many more!

DON’T DO MILKSHAKE RECIPE! 500 ml Schlagsahne IS JUST TO MUCH, after some time in machine (1-2 hours) it becomes BUTTER. I almost destroyed my machine. I cleaned machine for next 2 hours. So much fat and butter! Official recipes for milkshake says 1-6 spoons of “schlagsahne” NOT HALF LITAR!!

Ciao e grazie! Ho appena comprato la Slushi e sono ansioso di provare tutte le ricette.
Una domanda : quando parli di sciroppo( caramello, fragola), intendi quello liquido della Fabbri , oppure un topping qualsiasi (più denso)?
Grazie mille!
