We are talking about Le Creuset again, but this time about a range that many of you have not heard of: the Le Creuset baking range, which includes some wonderful non-stick moulds. Miguel Ángel, author of the blog Pimientos Verdes, is delighted with them, and tells us about his experience in this post.

If you like homemade baking as much as I do, you will know that having a good collection of molds is essential and necessary for making different recipes.

As with all products, we can choose from an infinite number of brands and qualities, and I prefer two brands that for me are a “must have” in any home: the bundt molds from Nordic Ware and the Pâtisserie collection from Le Creuset .

Today I want to tell you about my experience with the Pâtisserie range from Le Creuset , a brand whose cast iron products I have already told you about and with which I am completely satisfied.

The truth is that when I heard that Le Creuset was launching this new line of baking products, I was very happy. I knew in advance that I was going to find a very high quality and very durable product. The truth is that these moulds more than met my expectations. And also, at a very competitive price. If you couldn't ask for more!

We found some moulds made of carbon steel and this is noticeable just by picking them up (they are a bit heavier, when you hold them you can see that they are a quality mould). They are much more resistant than other moulds that we can find on the market, they do not deform with the change in temperature from hot to cold.

Something very important that I would also like to highlight is the excellent cooking they offer: being made of iron, they retain heat very well and offer perfect baking of our cakes. In addition, they come coated with a PFOA-free non-stick material that makes unmolding a very simple task and this also makes cleaning easier. Whether you decide to wash them by hand or in the dishwasher (as I do) you will see that they remain as good as new.

The Pâtisserie range is very wide, so we have more than enough variety: cupcake and mini-cupcake moulds, biscuit and sponge moulds , plum cake moulds, tart moulds ...

You may also find it very interesting to know that, apart from the fact that the range includes removable moulds , the round cake moulds have a removable base , which is a great help in ensuring an impeccable presentation on the table.

On the left, a removable mould ; on the right, a mould with a removable base .

As I mentioned before, they are very easy to clean as they are dishwasher safe. You can easily use metal utensils to handle the dough you bake. However, be careful not to use sharp objects that could scratch them. I have had some of these moulds for over a year and they are as good as new! It is an investment that is well worth it.

Some of the products in the range are currently on sale. You can take advantage of this to try out this line: I'm sure you won't be disappointed and you'll have moulds for life.

If you want to see some of the results achieved with these molds, here are some recipes that I hope you will also enjoy:

- Mini lemon chiffon cakes

- Double chocolate muffins

- Dulce de leche cupcakes

On the left, mini-chiffon cakes made in the Le Creuset cake pan ; on the right, double chocolate muffins in the Le Creuset cupcake pan .

As always, if you have any questions about the Le Creuset Pâtisserie range , you can leave a comment on this post and I will be happy to answer you.

Hola, he leído algunos comentarios de que los tiempos de horneado habituales se quedan cortos para estos moldes y no salen bien. Es así? Estoy pensando comprar algunos pero eso me echa un poco atrás. Muchas gracias y un saludo.
