Condensed milk flan is surely one of the most popular traditional flans. If you haven't made it at home yet, you should know that you've probably tried it before because, due to its vanilla flavour and how easy it is to prepare, it is often the homemade flan recipe served in many restaurants.
How to identify condensed milk flan? Because it is an egg flan, dense, with a rather whitish color, silky smooth in texture and often accompanied by a touch of vanilla that provides an aroma that goes very well with the flavor of condensed milk.
This time we make the flan in the Multidelices yogurt maker . In fact, it is an ideal recipe to make in a yogurt maker: if preparing this flan cannot be simpler, being able to steam it with the yogurt maker, without needing a bain-marie or turning on the oven, is undoubtedly a great convenience.
Among the ingredients you will see that there is no sugar, because all the sweetness is provided more than enough by the condensed milk, and it doesn't need any more. Ingredients (for 6 jars of Multidelices)
- 200nl condensed milk
- 500 ml whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- 6 eggs
- Liquid caramel
- Candied orange and a little condensed milk
- Cinnamon
- Strawberry or cherry coulis

Preparation
- Fill the bottom of the Multidelices Yogurt Maker glasses with liquid caramel.
- In a large bowl or in the KitchenAid bowl (with the built-in whisk attachment), mix all the ingredients to make the flan.
- Pour the mixture into the jars.
- Fill the yogurt maker with water and place the stand with the filled glasses. Turn on the yogurt maker with program 4 (everyday desserts) and extend the time to 50 minutes. Turn on and wait for the program to finish.
- When the program ends, you will see that the flans are ready. Let them cool and put them in the fridge until the next day.

- When serving, you can bring them to the table and serve the flan as is in the glasses, or you can present them on a plate (use a sharp knife to separate the flan from the glass before inverting them onto the plate) and accompany them with a little condensed milk and candied orange (the citrusy and sharper touch contrasts very well with the sweetness of the flan) or with a strawberry or cherry coulis.

If your yogurt maker doesn’t have these functions, you can try making flan by adjusting the time until you achieve the desired texture.
