Today we bring you a delicious chicken recipe cooked in a Le Creuset Doufeu casserole!
Ingredients
(for 4 people)
- 4 free-range chicken legs or a whole chicken cut into pieces
- 100gr dried blackberries
- 1 shallot (échalote)
- 50cl of crème fraîche for cooking (crème fraîchte)
- 50gr butter
- 25cl young wine
- Salt / ground pepper
- 500gr fresh tagliatelle
Preparation
- The afternoon before, marinate the chicken thighs with the wine. One hour before, soak the blackberries in a bowl of cold water. Drain. Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Peel and finely slice the shallot.
- Melt the butter over low heat in the Doufeu: add the cleaned chicken pieces. Add the sliced shallot and sauté. Cover the Doufeu, place some ice cubes or cold water in the lid, and put it in the oven. Let it cook for about one hour (time varies depending on the toughness of the chicken).
- Remove the Doufeu from the oven, add the wine, the blackberries, and the crème fraîche. Return the Doufeu to the stovetop over very low heat and let reduce for a few minutes. Serve with the tagliatelle.
