If there's one thing that wins me over about an authentic American hamburger , it's the flavor of the first bite.
The wonderful combination of top-quality meat, fresh vegetables and the slight spiciness of chili , all wrapped up in good cheese and the best bread, makes that first bite seem irresistible to me.
As I'm sure you feel the same way, I can't help but share this fantastic recipe for American-style barbecue burgers and some simple tips to make them stand out. Because making homemade burgers has never been easier !
The combinations of ingredients that you can make are endless, but to get the perfect point for this gourmet burger there are several things that are important to keep in mind:
The quality of the meat and the right amount of mincing. Mincing it and giving it the right texture is one of the determining factors to enhance the flavour and achieve a very interesting tenderness in the burger. Something that is very quick and easy with the Kitchenaid metal mincer accessory .
- Mix the ingredients you have chosen to prepare it well and chop them together so that the flavors and aromas of all of them mix and integrate.
- Use fresh, firm vegetables. Sweet onions enhance the flavour of the seasoned meat and lettuce to add the necessary touch of freshness.
- Cook the burger on a cast iron grill . You will get a great result.
- Choose the best bread. Or if you want, make your own! With soft crumb, so that the juice and flavors of the meat can soak into it.
- Choose a cheese that you like, mild or intense, but always in slices so that it covers the burger and melts with the heat.
- Add barbecue sauce (in moderation!) to enhance the flavor and preserve the essence of the burger.
With these tips, the Kitchenaid metal chopper accessory and the recipe for American-style barbecue burgers, you'll see how easy it is to prepare tasty homemade burgers.

- Once done, place them on the bread, add a slice of cheese, some chopped lettuce and grated carrot.
- Add a little barbecue sauce sparingly, cover it with the bread, close your eyes and take that wonderful first bite.
