Is there anything better than starting the day with a special coffee made at home? Today I’m bringing you one of my favourite seasonal recipes: a creamy, smooth pistachio latte with that sweet, toasted touch that makes it irresistible. If you’re someone who always orders a pistachio latte at your favourite coffee shop, you’ll love knowing that you can make it at home in less than five minutes with just four ingredients.
For this recipe, I’ve used the KitchenAid KF8 fully automatic coffee machine, which prepares the espresso and froths the milk for you at the touch of a button. It also works with cow’s milk and plant-based drinks such as oat or almond, so you can make your pistachio latte just the way you like it. And if you have the KF3, I’ll also explain how to make it.
Pistachio cream, a good espresso, frothed milk and chopped pistachios on top: that’s all it takes to treat yourself to a barista-style coffee without leaving your kitchen. Let’s get started!

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons pistachio cream
- 30 ml espresso
- 120 ml crushed pistachios
- 120 ml milk (or any other milk alternative*)
*For this recipe, we recommend using cow’s milk, oat drink or almond drink – and yes, the KitchenAid KF8 coffee machine is suitable for plant-based milks!
Method
- Add two teaspoons of pistachio cream to a cup.
- Make sure you have your favourite milk in the external container of your KitchenAid KF8 automatic coffee machine (you can also use the KF3 automatic coffee machine and add the frothed milk separately).
- Place the cup under the coffee spout of the KitchenAid espresso machine (we’re talking about a fully automatic coffee machine).
- Select the “Caffe Latte” option from the menu, choose “Plant-based or dairy drink” and press the start button. The machine will prepare the espresso, steam the milk and automatically pour it into the cup.
- To serve, sprinkle the crushed pistachios over the top.
- Stir to combine the flavours of the coffee and milk, and enjoy!
