  • 150 g of nuts: you can use a single nut or mix different ones as you prefer, such as cashews, pistachios, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts... (see notes)
  • 30g sesame seeds
  • 150 g dried apricots
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 3 or 4 tablespoons of grated coconut

Preparation

  1. In a non-stick pan, toast the peeled nuts that you have chosen (we have done it with cashews and pistachios). Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally and without adding oil or any other fat.
  2. After a few minutes, when you start to notice the roasted smell of the nuts, turn off the heat and let them cool slightly.
  3. Put the toasted nuts in a food processor or food processor , along with the sesame seeds, dried apricots and agave syrup. Blend until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  4. With a few teaspoons, remove portions of the dough and shape them into balls the size of a truffle, approximately. If you want bigger balls, you can use the croquette tongs .

Hola Trinidad, Marisa lo dice un poco en broma pero la verdad es que buena razón tiene… Puedes combinar estas bolas energéticas con varios ingredietnes, escogiendo el que más te guste: puedes pasarlas por cacao en polvo, por ejemplo, o bañarlas de almendras o nueces troceadas (como si hicieras panellets, puedes pincelarlas de huevo o de agua con azúcar y pasarlas por tus frutos secos favoritos para asegurar que queden pegados… aunque sin nada y presionando un poco también se quedarán pegados); también puedes bañarlos de azúcar o de azúcar avainillado, o de una mezcla de canela, azúcar moreno y cacao, por ejemplo.
