With little more than some good anchovies, a little garlic, oil and prawns, you can prepare some Bilbao-style anchovies that are a true delicacy. This recipe for anchovies with prawns brought to us by Carmen ( author of Yerbabuena in the kitchen ) is very rich, healthy and easy to prepare. It is an ideal recipe for these summer days, be sure to try it because you will succeed!

De Buyer Affinity Stainless Steel Frying Pan

Since many of us are already on vacation, I wanted to prepare a recipe that is free of any complications, but with the guarantee that its Basque origin provides us, since this is the time to enjoy things that we can't the rest of the year, to travel , to go out to the countryside with the children, to splash around in the sea or the pool, to walk, to share with friends or simply to let ourselves be carried away by the pleasure of the dolcefarniente .

But that is not why we should give up eating in a rich and healthy way. We are in the middle of the oily fish season and we must not forget that it provides us with endless health benefits, since by containing Omega 3 it helps us regulate blood pressure and this, in turn, reduces the risk of myocardial infarction. In addition, its consumption in a rational way, has beneficial effects for the circulatory system and arthritis prevention.

For these reasons, I encourage you to eat blue fish, among which you can not miss the anchovies, delicious in any way, they admit to being presented both as a main dish and on this occasion as a starter or tapa with a toast and a good white wine very cool.

Do you dare? Basically, you will only need some good anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea, a few minutes to prepare them, extra virgin olive oil and a frying pan as extraordinary as Buyer's Affinity , which with its seven layers of stainless steel both on the base and on the walls allows you to distribute heat evenly and cook food better.

  • 200 gr of fresh prawns
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • a chilli

Elaboration

  1. Wash the anchovies very well, remove the head and guts, dry and place on a tray. Let's go out Heat the oven to 180º and put the anchovies in, bake for about 5 minutes or until we see that they are done. We take out and reserve.
  2. While we cover the bottom of a frying pan with a drizzle of extra olive oil, add the garlic, and when they start to dance, add the prawns and the chili pepper rings.
  3. Cook for a couple of minutes, remove from heat and add the vinegar and chopped parsley. We turned over the reserved anchovies. We serve immediately, accompanied by toasted bread.
