Here you go 4 easy juice and smoothie recipesWhen you start experimenting with juices, a huge window of possibilities opens up in front of you. From making simple juices with assorted fruits, to getting into smoothies and lassis with yogurt and milk, to enjoying all kinds of plant-based milks that bring nutrients and a wide range of flavors, and to playing with spices. The world of juices is endless!
Today we would like to invite you to step into this world with some really easy-to-make juices and smoothies, and which we believe you can really enjoy, because they are very common flavors and they tend to be very popular wherever we take them.
To make smoothies, you’ll only need a blender that can crush ice. With that in mind, any of the blenders we have in the store will work for you, from our beloved Magimix blender to the KitchenAid, or the blenders of Nutribullet that we add from time to time.
For the juice, we make it very easy for you: with the Juice Expert extractor You don't even need to peel the fruit: just cut it so the fruit fits through the juicer's feed chute, and you're done.
Either way, you can see all blenders and juicers here. Now, onto the important part: let's go for those juices and smoothies!
Banana and cashew or hazelnut smoothie

- 1 banana
- 30 g of sugar (optional)
- 300 g of milk
- 6 ice cubes

Orange and carrot juice
Utensil: Magimix Juicer
Ingredients (for 2 glasses)
- ½ apple
- 2 oranges
- ½ carrot
- 1 cm of ginger
- (Optional) 75 ml of champagne
Preparation
With the Juice Expert juice extractor there's no need to peel the fruit or remove stems or seeds; everything that isn't juice will be retained in the filter.
So all you have to do is insert the cold-press attachment into the machine, cut all the ingredients into quarters, and keep feeding them into the machine.
Notes:
- You can put the juice in a countertop blender with a bit of ice, to make a slushy-style juice that's ultra-refreshing.
- If you want to make a juice for an aperitif or to impress, you can add about 75 ml of champagne to turn it into a very bold drink.

Carob shake
Utensil: Blender able to crush ice.
Ingredients
- 500 ml of almond milk
- 4 tbsp of carob flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 cc of vanilla essence
- 1/2 cc of cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of honey or cane sugar
- 400 ml of water
- 5 ice cubes
- Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving
Preparation
- Place all the ingredients except the water and ice in the blender and blend for 90 seconds.
- Add the 400 ml of water and the ice cubes and continue blending for 40 more seconds. Take advantage of the pulse option Click if you have it to vigorously blend the ice.
- Remove the blender jar and transfer it to a container, while straining it with a cotton fabric to collect the leftover flour.
- Drink it immediately or keep it in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours.
Optionally, you can serve it with a scoop of cream or whipped cream on top. It makes for a perfect presentation, but most importantly, the bitter notes of carob and cocoa combine wonderfully with the sweetness of the cream.

You can find all the blenders and juicers from our store in the section Juicers and countertop blenders.
Sometimes, people ask us what to look for to choose well. I think it's important to highlight that all countertop blenders that we have in the store are capable of crushing ice, and they have a Pulse function, which works so well when you blend ice or nuts, and lets you achieve a finer texture in very little time. From here, I’d recommend paying attention to the pitcher size you’re interested in, whether it includes any extras (some come with to-go cups for your juice), and the design.
