Although you probably already know it, I confess that I am a chocolate maker. Very chocolatey. I don't make distinctions when it comes to varieties, because I like them all! But if I have to confess a secret, my weakness is in the form of a drink, and this white chocolate with spices is to touch the sky.
On cold days there is nothing like a cozy hot drink to comfort the soul and body. And if it is white chocolate, it is a real pleasure. Furthermore, by flavoring the milk and cream with cinnamon and star anise, the result is a very smooth drink full of nuances, ideal to savor slowly.
This recipe is the perfect accompaniment for winter Sunday afternoons, along with the blanket and the couch. But it's so delicious and costs so little to prepare, it tastes great any day of the week.
Prepare the ingredients, because here you have the recipe.
Le Creuset ceramic cappuccino cups
Ingredients
- 120 g white chocolate
- 200 ml of cream
- 400 ml of milk
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise star
Elaboration
- Put the milk and cream in a saucepan with the cinnamon stick and the anise star and heat over low heat until it boils, stirring with a hand whisk .
- Once ready, remove the saucepan from the heat, with fine tongs, remove the cinnamon stick and the anise star, and add the chopped white chocolate. Stir vigorously so that it integrates as it melts.
- Pour the chocolate drink into Le Creuset ceramic cappuccino cups and serve immediately.
- If you wish, decorate with whipped cream and cinnamon powder before serving so that in addition to being delicious, it looks pretty.
Grades
- As I always say, make the recipe your own. This drink is ideal with star anise and cinnamon, but it is also ideal with vanilla, with a little coconut sugar, with a spoonful of dried fruit paste (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts...) or even with freshly ground black pepper if you are looking for a surprising and delicious flavor.
- If you want a more intense flavor, the cream and milk can be infused cold, overnight, with cinnamon and anise. As simple as pouring both liquids into an airtight container, adding the spices, closing the container and leaving it in the refrigerator until ready to boil the chocolate.

Este blog me parece muy bien ya que indica lo que es la cocina y algunos platillos los cuales son representados muy bien y con buena explicación cosa que simboliza lo importante que es esto.😸
