Pioneers in sustainability! Our new eco-friendly cardboard boxes: the future of responsible packaging

At Claudia&Julia we have always cared about offering quality products and taking the utmost care of every detail of what we deliver to our customers. But today we are taking our commitment to the environment one step further: we are proud to announce that we are pioneers in Spain in the use of totally new, environmentally friendly cardboard boxes that are responsible for the planet!

Can you imagine packaging that doesn't involve cutting down trees and is also sustainable in every aspect? Well, here it is! These innovative boxes are made from 70% recycled boxes and 30% hay (yes, grass!), making them a revolutionary and super eco-friendly solution. Not only does this new material avoid the use of paper from trees, but hay, being a fast-growing grass , is a renewable source that regenerates naturally. This means that we are significantly reducing our environmental impact, avoiding deforestation and opting for materials that are quickly renewed in nature.

Why are our boxes an important step towards the future?

• No tree cutting : Being made primarily from recycled cardboard and hay, we avoid the need to cut down new trees to produce the packaging.
• Sustainable materials : Using hay, a grass that regenerates quickly, ensures that there is always enough raw material without harming the ecosystem.
• Efficient reuse : By recycling old boxes, we extend the useful life of existing cardboard, reducing waste and promoting the circular economy.
• Environmental care : We reduce water consumption by 11% when producing them, as well as reducing CO2 emissions by 10%. We significantly reduce our carbon footprint by using recycled and renewable materials.

This project is not only a step forward for us, but a way to join those who believe in a greener and more responsible future. We are convinced that small actions, such as this change in our packaging, can make a big difference.

Since our beginnings at Claudia&Julia, we have always been committed to sustainability and respect for the environment in all our decisions. We minimize the use of non-recyclable materials in our shipments, avoiding the use of plastics and opting for recyclable packaging. In addition, we actively collaborate in reforestation and renewable energy projects to offset the carbon emissions of our shipments, making them carbon neutral.

We strive to avoid double shipments and promote the use of durable utensils that will last our customers a lifetime, reducing the need for constant replacement of products. We have always recommended cast iron and stainless steel pans, and today we are going one step further with our eco-friendly boxes, manufactured without the need to cut down trees.
