Pioneers in sustainability! Our new eco-friendly cardboard boxes: the future of responsible packaging

At Claudia&Julia we have always cared about offering quality products and paying the utmost attention to every detail of what we deliver to our customers. But today we take a step further in our commitment to the environment: we are proud to announce that we are pioneers in Spain in the use of completely new eco-friendly cardboard boxes that are responsible with the planet!

Can you imagine packaging that doesn’t require cutting down trees and is sustainable in every way? Well here it is! These innovative boxes are made up of 70% recycled boxes and 30% hay (yes, grass!), making them a revolutionary and super eco solution. This new material not only avoids the use of paper derived from trees, but the hay, being a fast-growing grass, is a renewable source that regenerates naturally. This means we are significantly reducing our environmental impact, avoiding deforestation and choosing materials that renew quickly in nature.

Why are our boxes an important step toward the future?

• No tree felling: As they are made mainly from recycled cardboard and hay, we avoid the need to cut new trees to produce the packaging.
• Sustainable materials: The use of hay, a grass that regenerates quickly, ensures there will always be enough raw material without harming the ecosystem.
• Efficient reuse: By recycling old boxes, we extend the life of existing cardboard, reducing waste and promoting the circular economy.
• Environmental care: We reduce water consumption by 11% when producing them, in addition to reducing CO2 emissions by 10%. We significantly reduce the carbon footprint by using recycled and renewable materials.

This project is not just a step forward for us, but a way to join those who believe in a greener, more responsible future. We are convinced that small actions, like this change in our packaging, can make a big difference.

Since our beginnings at Claudia&Julia, we have always committed to sustainability and respect for the environment in all our decisions. We minimize the use of non-recyclable materials in our shipments, avoiding plastics and opting for recyclable packaging. We also actively collaborate in reforestation and renewable energy projects to offset the carbon emissions of our shipments, making them carbon neutral.

We strive to avoid double shipments and promote the use of durable utensils that accompany our customers throughout their lives, reducing the need for constant product replacement. We have always recommended cast iron and stainless steel pans, and today we take another step with our eco-friendly boxes, manufactured without the need to cut down trees.
