I am often surprised when, talking with customers, I see that they don't know the brand Rösle. In my opinion it is one of the best manufacturers of stainless steel utensils in the world, both for home and professional use, and it is definitely a brand to keep in mind when equipping a kitchen.

I don't want to go on about the company, but I would like to mention that it is a German manufacturer with a very long tradition (since 1888) with a strong emphasis on quality and functionality. In fact, the point that most stands out in their philosophy is “creating utensils that retain their value, rather than making things that follow short-lived trends.”

This philosophy really marks the difference between Rösle and other small-ware manufacturers. One of the most important aspects that sets Rösle apart is the feeling you get when owning and using any of their products: they convey sturdiness and quality in your hands, and when you use them you notice their level of functionality and the precision with which they work.

With all this, you might think it must be an expensive brand. But that's not the case — the prices of their utensils are very affordable, and while it's true you pay a little more than with cheaper brands, the price difference is more than justified. In addition, Rösle offers a 10-year warranty on their utensils, which guarantees you'll be able to amortize the investment by using a quality product for many years.

Rösle's assortment is very broad, and in the store we have many of them. But there are several I'd like to highlight above the others, which I now detail for you.

The first and undoubtedly my number one ally in the kitchen are the Rösle fine tongs. The precision with which you handle these tongs, and the consistency they have, make them a must-have for flipping the meat or seafood you have on the grill, turning the chicken in the oven, or even serving cheese or cold cuts at the table. The secure grip on the meat is unmatched by any other tongs!
The same tongs are available in a mini version (18cm). I recommend these for serving at the table, garnishing dishes or even for ice cubes — they're pretty, elegant and practical!

Another utensil used very often is peelers: the oval peeler, for all kinds of tough skins, and the long peeler, with its serrated teeth or double-blade, is a must-have and will serve you for tomatoes, kiwis, apples and all kinds of thinner, slippery skins or softer fruits. Everyone who's tried Rösle peelers confirms they are without a doubt the best on the market.

Also very practical, especially at this time of year, is the tomato and mozzarella slicer. It's almost impossible to slice a tomato evenly without this slicer. It lets you prepare salads with a fantastic presentation effortlessly.

Another small great utensil is the nutcracker, which stands out for two things: first, you don't have to exert any force, it works excellently, and second, thanks to the force it applies, it is equally suitable for shellfish.

Other utensils that will finish convincing you of the brand's know-how:

- The Rösle can opener! I wish I could demonstrate it for you, and you would understand the difference between this and any other: it opens the can safely, without any effort and once opened the can seems like it's still closed thanks to the precision of the cut. There are no burrs left, it's remarkable.

- The torch, very safe, easy to use and with professional power.

- The manual juicer: small, practical and, above all, I would highlight how easy it is to clean — unlike electric ones, it has only 2 pieces, the part where you press and the cup that collects the juice. Both pieces are stainless steel, and you're so quick to remove the pulp and put them in the dishwasher or rinse them under water that you stop feeling lazy about making juice. It does have one drawback, and that's that it's manual and you shouldn't forget that: unlike electrics, you are the one who must apply the force and the turning motion, but it pays off for me because of the ease of cleaning. Also, being made entirely of stainless steel, it always looks like new (plastic ones lose color and end up looking awful).

And finally, no more searching the cupboard for a pot to put the strainer in so you can store it! Sound familiar, right? One of the utensils that has helped me gain the most space in the kitchen is Rösle's foldable colander, which has been a great success because it truly solves the eternal problem of strainers: the space they take up.

I've told you about the Rösle utensils that I'm most in love with, or those customers talk to me about the most. But I encourage you to see what we have or whichever ones pique your curiosity. If you have any questions or want to share your experience with Rösle utensils, we look forward to your comment!
