We couldn't bring you a pan as wonderful as the Nordic Ware pancake pan without accompanying it with a great recipe to give it a try. Today you're going to discover a quick and delicious way to enjoy pancakes: We bring you the recipe to make some super fluffy pancakes that you'll use on many occasions!
Today's pancakes are especially fluffy thanks to the use of buttermilk . As you may know, buttermilk gives sponge cakes and other doughs fluffiness and improves their flavor . Let's use it in pancake batter too!
The recipe is not at all complicated. What I think is worth highlighting is how quickly the pancakes are prepared in the Falling Snowflakes pancake pan: it has 9 cavities, so unlike single-cavity or other pans, you can quickly make progress in making the pancakes. In just a few minutes, the little ones in the house or the sweet-toothed adults will be enjoying these fluffy pancakes!
Ingredients
- 1 cup (125 gr) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cc of salt
- 1/2 cc of baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1 cc of sugar
- 1 cup (250 ml) buttermilk
- 3/4 cc baking powder
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Preparation
- Heat the Nordic Ware Pancake Pan over medium heat and brush the cavities with butter or oil.
- In a bowl, sift the flour together with the baking soda, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In another bowl or using the KitchenAid, beat the egg until light and fluffy, using a whisk.
- Next, add the buttermilk and melted butter to the egg. Add it to the initial dry mixture.
- Mix all the ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous, consistent and lump-free dough.
- Once you have the batter ready, pour about 2 tablespoons into each cavity of the pan. Let the first side cook, and as soon as the pancakes start to bubble, flip them over and continue cooking until they are lightly browned on both sides.
- For a second batch of pancakes, brush the pan with melted butter again (it doesn't really need this, it's a non-stick pan, but the butter will soak up the batter and help them get a nice golden brown more quickly).
Grades
- Pancakes are a delicious snack, but especially with something to accompany them: enjoy them with your favorite jam, with a good drizzle of honey, with fruit, with melted chocolate, with peanut butter, with dulce de leche... They are so easy to make and so versatile, they will become your favorite breakfast!
- You can serve the pancakes individually and everyone can add them to their own taste. Or you can serve them two at a time with hazelnut and cocoa spread or dulce de leche in between (like a sandwich, kids love it), or serve them in a stack - bring a tower of pancakes to the table so everyone can wave at you!
- You'll find buttermilk in most supermarkets, but you can also make your own by cutting the milk with a tablespoon of lemon juice, or by using the leftover buttermilk from making homemade butter (you can make it in no time with the KitchenAid).

Un cc es un centrímetro cúbico y equivale a 1 ml. Hay cucharitas medidoras en las que aparece esa medida. Aparece como 1 ml o 1 pinch (pizca o pellizco).
