Preparing roasted pear or apple is one of the easiest, fastest and most delicious things there is, and you can imagine that with a touch of cinnamon and combined with yogurt it is a delicious recipe. Today I am going to show you how to make these yogurt and cinnamon roasted pear cups , which you will have ready before you say "plis".

These yogurts are just as delicious with pear as with baked apple , so use one or the other fruit interchangeably, or mix both because it is also a great option.

To make the yogurt we will use the yogurt maker , which if you do not have it or are not familiar with it, I invite you to read this post , in which we show you that far from making only yogurt in it, you can make an infinite number of desserts.

Yogurt with roasted pear

Ingredients

For the roasted pears:

  • 3 Conference pears or 3 Golden apples (either pears or apples, choose them ripe but not too ripe, or they will be very soft; if they are green they will be too hard and will not have a flavor as consistent with the cinnamon)*
  • 1 generous tbsp brown sugar
  • A few spoonfuls of honey
  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon powder (you can also apply a cinnamon stick).
  • (Optional) Half teaspoon of ginger
  • Half a glass of water
*For the recipe, you can also use a mix of pears and apples.

For the yogurt:

  • 600 ml of fresh whole milk
  • 1 quality natural yogurt

Preparation

For the baked pear or apple:

  1. Clean, peel and cut the pear or apple into small squares and place them in a mould or oven-safe tray.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon on top, mix and pour in a few tablespoons of water and honey. Mix again and place in the oven at 180 ºC until it looks tender and cooked (it will be ready in about 15 minutes).
  3. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.

NOTE: You can also make these yogurt cups with pear or apple compote. Simply put the fruit in a saucepan, cover it with water and turn on the heat. Stir and wait for the fruit to soften and the water to reduce.

For the preparation of yogurt:

  1. Pour the pear, apple or a mixture of both into the glasses, placing a spoonful in each one (leaving a finger's breadth from the base of the Multidelices shaker glasses covered by the fruit).
  2. In a bowl, using a whisk with a ball tip (we don't want to incorporate air into the mixture), mix the yogurt with the milk and pour into the glasses. Cover them with the respective lids.
  3. Plug in the yogurt maker and prepare it by putting a finger's worth of water in the base. Place the yogurts inside and switch on the "Yogurts" mode (if you want them to set for 8 hours) or the "Express yogurts" program (if you want them ready in 4 hours). Wait for the program time to elapse and the yogurts will be ready.
  4. Let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

Grades

  • When you mix the milk and yogurt, you can sweeten it with stevia or sugar if you prefer sweet yogurt. You can also make them as per the recipe and add the sugar later, when you are ready to eat them.
  • Whenever I roast apple or pear, I make too much. I use the leftover roasted apple or pear to make puff pastries, or purée them a bit more and put them on toast - they make a delicious breakfast! Or eat them by the spoonful, that's always a good option.
  • If you want to make yogurt cups in an express way and save yourself from roasting the fruit, you can also use jam: place a few spoonfuls of your favorite jam on the bottom of the glasses and pour the milk and yogurt mixture on top. You'll see how delicious they are!
