One of the questions we often get is how to use the Le Creuset mini ceramic cocotte. This beautiful little dish is a fantastic kitchen tool. Not only is it ideal as a sugar bowl or sweet dish, but thanks to its ceramic construction it’s oven- and microwave-safe, as well as fridge- and freezer-safe. Being enamelled and non-porous, it allows you to cook, bake or heat any food without absorbing odours or flavours. And when presented at the table, it always steals the spotlight. And rightly so!
This recipe is an excellent way to use and show off your mini cocotte. You’ll see that the burrata with roasted grapes in a mini cocotte is a total winner – easy to prepare and absolutely delicious. And because grapes with cheese always taste like a kiss!

Ingredients
- 1 bunch of red or black grapes
- Burrata cheese
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
- Green shoots or sprouts (whichever you like best: soy, broccoli, onion, etc.)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top and bottom heat). You can also do this in your air fryer at the same temperature.
- Wash the grapes and pat off any excess water.
- Place the grapes in your Le Creuset mini ceramic cocotte, season with salt to taste and drizzle with olive oil.
- Cover the mini cocotte and place it in the oven or air fryer. Let the grapes roast for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place the burrata on a plate and gently cut it open so it spreads slightly. Don’t miss the chance to match the mini cocotte with your Le Creuset ceramic plate in the same colour or mix and match. It’ll look stunning!
- Take the mini cocottes out of the oven or air fryer and arrange the roasted grapes on top. Drizzle with a generous splash of olive oil and scatter a few sprouts on top to finish.

Suggestions
- As mentioned, you can serve this combo on toast. Just place the burrata on a slice of toasted bread, add the grapes on top, drizzle with olive oil and finish with some sprouts before serving.
- You can add extra aroma and flavour by seasoning the burrata and grapes with a bit of thyme, rosemary or freshly ground pepper.
- If you can’t find burrata or simply prefer something else, you can make this delicious dish with mozzarella. It’ll be just as tasty!
