This is Kuhn Rikon's philosophy, and I find it exemplary. I like it so much that I actually try to apply this way of thinking to Claudia&Julia — when I choose products to add to the shop, when we respond to a customer, when we pack products for shipping... You have to be careful, and convey affection and professionalism in everything. That's how I think, at least. And for that very reason I trust Kuhn Rikon so much, and it is this brand I wanted to talk to you about today.

Many of you will recognize this name, and you have surely seen its logo, because Kuhn Rikon is a very important company. Despite being family-owned (headquartered in Rikon, Switzerland), it has subsidiaries in Great Britain, Spain and the U.S. They sell to more than 40 countries worldwide, and maintain a close relationship with distributors.

Kuhn Rikon handles the entire production process, from product development and design to the distribution of high-quality cookware, accessories and kitchen utensils that enable efficient and healthy cooking. Without a doubt, when we talk about Kuhn Rikon we can talk about Swiss quality! They use top-quality steel, have much of the production process automated, but inspect each piece at key points using electronic methods. And if I emphasize quality so much, it's because it is vital to me from the moment their products enter my shop... but especially when we talk about pressure cookers. Pressure cookers must withstand very high internal temperatures and pressures, and it is therefore very important to guarantee the quality of the cooker. With Kuhn Rikon I am very calm, and I know that anyone who owns one of their cookers will be too, because it is a cooker for life.

You have surely heard of Kuhn Rikon's cookers. They are known by name, "Duromatic". The first was developed in 1949, it was an immediate success and its name soon became synonymous with the pressure cooker.

It was the first product exported by Kuhn Rikon, and in these more than 60 years it has become the pot that every Swiss household has in its kitchen. Also in mine!

The Duromatic are still sold today: the cooker has been reinvented to be better every day.
