 Receta de gambas en airfryer

Zwilling oil-free air fryer (with 4 L capacity)

Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • 250g shrimp (fresh or frozen, they can be peeled)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 fresh chili pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 limes
  • ½ bunch of parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

  1. If frozen, thaw the shrimp in a container with paper towels or on a rack. Peel and devein if using fresh. Rinse and pat dry with paper towel.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the garlic cloves.
  3. Trim the chili, wash it, and cut it in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and finely chop it.
  4. Rinse the limes under hot water, zest one lime and squeeze its juice. Cut the second lime into wedges.
  5. Wash the parsley and shake it dry. Strip some leaves and chop them with a knife. Set aside.
  6. In a bowl, mix the oil with the lime juice and zest, the chili, garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp; mix well to coat.
  7. Transfer the shrimp to the rack of the air fryer (if you want, for convenience you can also use a paper liner for air fryers). Cook on the "Shrimp" program (160 °C) for approx. 8–10 minutes (if the shrimp are large, you may need to extend the time up to 12 minutes). Once done, remove immediately.
  8. When serving, you can present them in a small casserole dish, or on slices of toasted bread (several on each slice). Exquisite!

Notes

  • You can leave the shrimp marinating for hours in the fridge in an airtight container. They’ll be even tastier!
  • I encourage you to make some French fries or sweet potato in the air fryer and serve them alongside the shrimp. You’ll have a dish everyone at home will devour, oil-free but full of delicious things!

Here’s a serving idea, and I invite you to check out all the air fryers and air ovens (oil-free fryers and ovens) we have at Claudia&Julia here.

Serving idea: with French fries or sweet potato you’ll have a super tasty dish:

Gambas con patatas
