If you love apples, whether golden or reineta, the Paño de cocina de algodón Pommes a Croquer Le Jacquard Français will charm you. This elegantly designed and very detailed cloth is made from 100% combed cotton and woven in jacquard. Its texture is soft and very pleasant to the touch, and it features a beautiful pattern inspired by eating apples, highlighted by vertical borders on the sides. Made in France in a responsible and sustainable way, this high-quality kitchen cloth will look lovely wherever you place it.
The design integrated into the fabric is defined on both sides, which gives it a greater durability and makes its appearance remain impeccable, wash after wash. It is a large patch, measuring 60 x 80 cm, and with a good absorbency. Its beautiful design makes it ideal not only for drying dishes or glassware, but also as an elegant decorative element to cover bread, apples or any other fruit, and keep it always on display.
Le Jacquard Français is known for making fabrics using the jacquard technique. This technique, invented in 1804 by Joseph Marie Jacquard, integrates the design into the fabric using a loom that individually controls the different threads at each stitch. The pattern is woven at the same time the fabric is woven, it is not printed or added afterwards. The creations are more complete, with texture and relief, maintaining their beautiful and luxurious appearance over time.
Le Jaquard Français uses high-quality natural fibers to guarantee the excellence of its products. Along with linen, one of its main materials is combed cotton. This type of cotton is meticulously and carefully combed to remove impurities and the shorter fibers. Only the longer fibers remain, resulting in a yarn that is softer, more uniform and more resistant. With this combed cotton yarn, the fabrics are more durable and very pleasant to the touch.
Le Jacquard Français is a symbol of savoir-faire and traditional French craftsmanship, and an institution in France. Founded in Gérardmer in 1888 and specialized in crafting high-end jacquard home textiles, the brand is internationally recognized for the quality, durability, and elegance of its fabrics and designs. Its table linens, featuring elegant, sophisticated patterns, are its signature products. Available in specialty stores and renowned department stores worldwide, its production, which remains in France, combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology without losing its essence.
For Le Jacquard Français, responsible, sustainable production and the use of certified natural materials certified, of excellent quality and great durability, are very important. Its fabrics are made with combed-cotton yarns or Masters of Linen linen, a European seal that guarantees the authenticity and traceability of linen and comes from certified European producers In 2010 it received the state certification Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV), an award that recognizes know-how and artisanal and historical excellence.
