- The handles are a continuation of the dish, they have an ergonomic shape (the fingertips fit very well underneath and the grip feels more secure).
- The sides are not completely straight; they have a certain oval shape that conveys spaciousness, generosity in portions.

CLAUDIA'S NOTE ON COLORS: When Emile Henry ceramic is heated, the color of the molds intensifies, becoming darker. Honestly, I never know if I like them better at room temperature or when I take them out of the oven—they are such beautiful colors! The classic red for a while is an intensely garnet shade... I think they want us to keep using them for baking!
