These watermelon and lemon popsicles have been a success at home. With the arrival of summer, and sometimes even before, the boys stop drinking the yogurt in their glass and the Zoku t-shirt begins its high season. When it is not yogurt it is juice, and when it is not…. another thing. I have seen them even take the Cola Cao in the morning with their stick. And it is that like this, there is no doubt, it is much more fun.

We also have the chapter of when friends come and offer them a freshly made ice cream with their own hands. Everyone hallucinates and of course they want to make their own; altering yogurts of different flavors to make a striped polo shirt… in short… a great plan!

Apart from these basic elaborations that they love and that they repeat every summer as a ritual, the Zoku shirt also works well with adults. I love inventing different combinations to surprise our own friends. Today's is super showy and is downright rich!

Zoku Quick Pop Double Fridge

Ingredients

  • 400g of watermelon
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 glass of water
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • toasted sesame
  • currants

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan , heat the water, lemon juice and sugar so that it dissolves well.
  2. We remove and let it cool.
  3. In a container we place this lemonade, add the watermelon in pieces and crush.
  4. We took our Zoku refrigerator out of the freezer.
  5. We join with our fingers a sprig of currants and a stick from the mold and we insert it together in the hole of the shirt. If we see that it doesn't fit easily due to the volume of the currants, we tilt them a bit, but we try to keep them as centered as possible.
  6. We do the same with each hole in our Zoku.
  7. Add the watermelon and lemon juice.
  8. We wait 8 minutes (yes, with the Zoku fridge they are ready in that record time!) and unmold with the help of the knob-shaped accessory. Screwing it up and pulling.
  9. We place the white plastic base on the knob. It is very practical so as not to get dirty if the pole drips.
  10. Decorate with a little sesame as a topping.

The shirt must be previously 24 hours in the freezer for it to work correctly. In the one with two you can make up to six poles consecutively and in the one with six you can make nine. It is convenient to rinse it after use and always keep it in the freezer so that it is available at any time.
