Today's post is not about products, recipes or recommendations. Today's post is something different, because we have news that we are very excited to tell you about: we have been the first in Spain to incorporate a new packaging system that I am in love with.
What is this whole story about?, you ask. The fact is that Jordi and I had a concern for some time: we thought it was a pity that all the dedication and care that we put into Claudia&Julia did not arrive in some different and surprising way at the house of those who have given us the confidence to buy . "How we would like it to look like a gift in some way!", we thought. And then we discovered Geami! Geami is a packaging system that some companies are already using in the United States, and that has just arrived in Europe. It is a packaging and protection system made of 100% paper -100% recyclable!-. To make myself understood, I can tell you that it is the substitute for the typical plastic bubble wrap.
Geami has such a rustic and delicate appearance that I fell in love with it from the first moment, but apart from that it turned out to offer many advantages! As I have mentioned, it is totally recyclable, which for me is undoubtedly an important added value; and for the customer it is convenient, because they can take the box and the geami paper after opening their purchase and throw it away for recycling without further complication.
In addition, packing with it is easy and fast, it avoids having to use a seal (the guys in the warehouse appreciated it, their elbows are in better shape!), the tissue paper inside protects from scratches, and the cells of the paper -which open when stretched to wrap- cushion from blows. Isn't that fantastic?
The guys from Rajapack, Geami distributors in Spain, wanted to make us a video. In it you will see a little of what I have told you:
We did not hesitate for a minute to incorporate it into Claudia&Julia to protect all delicate products! We have been using it since the end of last year, in fact we have been the first company in Spain to have it! That is already a success in itself, but what has made me really happy during this time has been the surprise of receiving your messages, photos and emails commenting on how surprised you are with it, how you like it and all the uses you give it: from using it to store delicate things that you have at home, to being perfect for making crafts with the little ones and you have even sent us photos of how the headboard of the bed has turned out with the Geami as decoration!
I am very happy to see that you like Geami, apart from being as useful as it is when it comes to sending material as delicate as the one we can send.

He tenido el gusto de recibir varios envíos con el nuevo sistema de embalaje, y además de bonito en su presentación, queda todo perfectamente envalado y lleva sin un mínimo arañón. Y por supuesto, mirando por el medio ambiente!

Claudia, sois lo mas… cuidáis hasta el mas mínimo detalle. No solo es práctico y útil, además me parece superchulo éste nuevo concepto de embalaje. Ayer cuando recibí mi pedido pensé que sería ideal para las fotos del blog. En fín… reiteraros mi admiración por el trabajo tan serio e impecable que hacéis.

La verdad es que el embalaje es fantástico . Estas navidades me regalaron una sartén directamente envuelta en este papel y quedaba precioso el paquete, daba pena hasta abrirlo. Comprar en vuestra web da seguridad y confianza en todos los sentidos. Un saludo.

Me parece un embalaje genial. Me gusta mucho que sea todo papel y reciclable, además las compras llegan perfectamente protegidas (gracias a la gente que trabaja en el almacén!). Me alegra que lo hayáis incluido en vuestra empresa, siempre mejorando, aunque ya nos tenéis enamorados 100%
