Christmas days are a real marathon for the family's cooks. And although it's a great opportunity to show off, create, surprise and enjoy, I'm sure many of you already know what you're going to eat. Probably the same as last year, and the year before, and the year before that…
This year on the Claudia&Julia blog we want to surprise you with three different menus devised by three bloggers we love: Ana (Biscayenne), Miriam (El invitado de invierno) and Jimena (Agoisfoto), without whom this lovely initiative would not have been possible. Each of them will reflect their style and personality in the chosen dishes, showing that YOU can surprise and captivate your guests at such predictable times. From the kitchen we'll try to make this Christmas a different Christmas. Oh! And this week we’re taking ideas for Christmas Eve night, next week we will unfold the Christmas menu that Àngels Pallàs cooked for us in the "We love cooking" space. There will be ideas for every taste. Whoever is not able to surprise this year, even if only with a different appetizer, it's because they haven't visited the Claudia&Julia blog!
Miriam is the author of the blog El invitado de invierno. She is a cooking enthusiast noted for the variety of her recipes and the brilliance of her photographs. She has proposed a menu that combines traditional ingredient choices with an innovative touch in the recipes, as we can see in the dessert with this exquisite quince sorbet.

Jimena specializes in directing, styling and photographic production of food products. Author of the blog Agoisfoto and a fan of good cooking, she proposes a typical menu from her country of origin: Peru.

Ana is a force of nature. The biography on her blog Biscayenne says it all; I invite you to read it to understand what this menu is about. Ana likes traditional, no-nonsense cooking. So she opens the menu with nothing less than a classic vermouth with a slice of orange to add a few drops of aged flavor to the matter. No modern fantasies and gathering the best memories from her own family experience, she presents us this menu. Enjoy!

The truth is I loved their menus. Each has a different, original touch and they are imbued with their personality, which was what we wanted to reflect in this post.
If you haven't chosen a menu yet or you are missing some detail to surprise your friends and family, here you will find the inspiration you need.
Since the post was getting very long and I want you to take good note of the menus, in the coming days I will publish an individual post for each one with their personal notes. All three are delightful.
