The Zwilling Twinny kids knife is a chef's knife, but designed to teach the little ones in the house safe and efficient handling of a kitchen knife. Thus, the Twinny children's knife is designed so that it can be used from the age of 3 (always under the supervision of adults), and is ideal for youngsters who want to start or help in the kitchen.
It is not a toy knife: it is a kitchen knife that cuts, and cuts well (with the quality of Zwilling knives), but it has been manufactured to offer safety and to be able to cut in the most optimal and safe way. It is a chef-type knife, which if normally for adults it would have a 13-15 cm blade and a pointed end, for children it has been manufactured with a length adapted to their hands and size, 10.5 cm, much more manageable for them; and with a rounded blade to offer them security. In addition, the handle and the protector complete the task to make it optimal for them and that they learn to hold the knife and cut in an agile and correct way.
