The Opinel curved blade knife is specially designed for peeling fruits and vegetables, making it super effective for all foods with thin skins (pear, apple, plum...). The blade, very sharp, curved, and beak-shaped, is ideal for cutting fruits and vegetables and removing unwanted parts with the tip. In addition, thanks to its thin blade, you peel fruits removing only the thin skin, making the most of all the pulp.
Also, by simply turning it over, you can use the rough side to clean mushrooms and vegetables by scraping them, without removing the skin, in order to preserve as many vitamins as possible.
