Designed for stylish cooking and serving, the Le Creuset low heart cocotte will steal hearts both in the kitchen and at the table, drawing gasps of admiration. Made of cast iron, it distributes heat evenly and retains it for a long time. Cooking is uniform, browning is superb, and the results are simply wonderful. Its heart-shaped design is echoed in the embossed rings on the lid, which features a heart-shaped stainless steel knob that is heat resistant up to 260 °C.

The low heart cocotte is a casserole with all the advantages of Le Creuset’s cast iron pieces, made from the same materials and finish as the brand’s traditional round cocotte. It is a reliable, sturdy, durable and efficient pot with stunning design. A perfect gift! A unique, versatile, and long-lasting piece, ideal for cooking soups, legumes, rice, roasts, or even cakes and breads in a lovely heart shape – made with lots of love.

This cocotte is lower than traditional cast iron casseroles. This reduced height offers two key benefits:

  • With shorter walls, it uses less cast iron, so it is lighter than a traditional cocotte or same-sized heart-shaped version.
  • The lid, which heats along with the pot in the oven, is closer to the food and transfers heat faster, resulting in quicker cooking – especially useful for meat, which will roast more quickly and stay juicy.

What makes Le Creuset cocottes special

  • Made of enamelled cast iron, suitable for all heat sources (including induction), oven-safe, freezer-safe, and dishwasher-safe.
  • Their soft satin finish makes them shine in the kitchen and on the table.
  • Perfect for slow cooking over low heat to achieve the most tender and flavourful meats.
  • Lifetime guarantee.
  • All round cocottes come with a stainless steel knob (oven safe at any temperature).
