The Vantage from De Buyer is a stainless steel mandoline with which you can easily and safely cut fruits, vegetables, and even cold cuts. The design of its V-shaped blades guarantees a clean and precise cut, without tearing, whether on hard or soft foods. And it’s so versatile that you can even grate with it!

The V-shaped blades allow cutting without crushing the pieces. Inspired by the cutting technique of professional chefs, it is ideal for fruits or vegetables like tomatoes, since the cut is made progressively from the sides, holding the piece and sliding it along the blade until the end, smoothly and without tears.

With this professional kitchen mandoline no cut will resist you, just by adjusting the height or changing the combs. Its foldable feet and storage box for accessories allow you to keep it handy for daily use.

Want ideas on how to use it? See everything you can do with it:

  • Adjust the height to the minimum to have a potato chip slicer, very thin and crispy when fried.
  • For your salads and carpaccios, just adjust the cut to your preferred thickness, and you’ll have a fast and very efficient fruit and vegetable slicer.
  • If you want to cut potatoes into strips, adjust the height and place the 10 mm julienne comb to get perfect fries or the 7 mm one if you want them thinner.
  • Use the mandoline to cut vegetables into finer julienne by fitting the 4 mm comb. In no time you’ll have the ingredients ready for a delicious wok.
  • Place the grating base on the mandoline to grate vegetables, fruits, chocolate, or even cheese.
  • Use the graters without the mandoline. They are ideal for the finishing touch when serving your dishes, grating a bit of nutmeg on vichyssoise or chocolate on cappuccino.
  • It is a food slicer perfect for preparing a snack platter with the most appetizing cold cuts and deli meats.
  • Using the extra-long mandoline accessory you can cut fruits and vegetables into extra-long strips, slices, and sticks.
