The “Quattro Stagioni” Jar Lids by Bormioli Rocco are the perfect and essential accessory for your preserving jars. The 3 sizes fit perfectly on Italy's most famous jars and bottles, ensuring that each new preserve is as safe as the last.
The packs include 2 lids for the 70 mm and 86 mm sizes and 3 lids for the 56 mm size.
- All lids are golden in color, high quality, and crafted with great attention to detail.
- The interior of the lid features a rubber gasket that allows air to escape from the jar during boiling, creating a vacuum and adhering to the glass.
- The flexible part of the lid (in the center) depresses, ensuring the vacuum is maintained over time.
- This special internal rubber gasket is softer, purer, and more elastic than those in common jars, ensuring full adhesion to the glass.
- No need to tighten the jar lid excessively, as doing so would prevent air from escaping. Simply screw it on gently, and it's ready for pasteurization!
- The lids are practical and replaceable, guaranteeing the vacuum process for each new preserve.
- All lids are specifically designed for preserving fatty and acidic foods and drinks, except for the 86 mm lids, which are not suitable for 100% fatty substances.
