Bérard wooden tongs are kitchen tongs made from beautiful olive wood, with a total length of 25 cm. Their built-in spring allows for easy use, and they are ideal for handling food especially in non-stick pans and grills, where using stainless steel tongs could scratch the non-stick surface.

Olive wood is ideal for kitchen use as it has antibacterial properties and is one of the most resistant woods to stains and odors. It does not require special care, although it is highly recommended to wash it by hand and let it dry in a vertical position.

To keep the wood looking like new and prevent it from drying out excessively, it is advisable to occasionally apply vegetable oil.

History of Bérard

Since 1892, Bérard has been crafting wooden utensils in Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, nestled between the French Alps and the Côte d’Azur. Their manufacturing process is environmentally friendly and respectful of forests.

As a specialist in olive wood, each piece is handcrafted to make the most of the available wood, ensuring that no two pieces are ever alike. Additionally, all leftover material is used to heat both the drying chamber and the workshop itself, ensuring that no wood goes to waste.
