The new Artisan Plus mixer has been designed to work with much more precise speed control, improving its performance. With the same quality and durability, the same ease and comfort of use, while maintaining its iconic design and the benefits of its direct-drive motor, it includes the following benefits:

• Integrated LED light for the bowl. The LED light turns on to illuminate the bowl when the head is lowered or the knob is turned, while the mixer is running. This lets you see more clearly as you add ingredients and check how the preparation is progressing. It turns off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity or when the head is lifted. If the machine is unplugged, the light does not turn on.
• New button design for speed selection, head lock, and the button and cover for attaching additional accessories.
• Includes speed 1/2, which lets you gently add delicate ingredients.
• Two speed control modes. You can choose easily between its 11 preset speeds (from 1/2 to 10), or turn the control knob to activate precision speed control and slide it gently until you find the one you need.
• Soft start system that gradually increases speed to minimize splashes.
• All the standard accessories are made of stainless steel.

What you can do with it

Its 325 watts of power are distributed across 11 preset speeds, designed so you can prepare all kinds of recipes, from the simplest to the most sophisticated, with the option to activate precision speed control. Depending on the speed selected, you can:

• 1/2: Gently incorporate delicate ingredients.
• 1: Stir slowly ingredients: combine, purée, mix, etc. To add flour and dry ingredients to mixtures, add liquids to dry ingredients, and combine thick mixtures.
• 2-3: Knead and mix slowly: ideal for making mashed potatoes or other vegetables, for making candy, dispersing fat in flour, making light and liquid mixtures that splash easily, and for mixing and kneading yeast doughs.
