At the table or in the kitchen, you'll get plenty of use out of them.

Made from stoneware ceramic, they stand out for their excellent heat and cold retention, whether cold or hot. As they are suitable for the refrigerator and freezer, they are ideal for chilling ingredients or serving your cold desserts and keeping them fresh for longer. They are also suitable for the microwave and oven, so you can heat, cook, or gratinate all kinds of dishes. And as soon as the dish is ready, you can serve it directly in the bowl, keeping it warm.

Their vitrified glaze gives them a glossy finish in beautiful colors, which contrasts with the white interior. In addition, they are non-porous, so they do not absorb moisture, odors, flavors, or bacteria. Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dimensions?

700 ml capacity, 14.1 cm in diameter and 7.7 cm high. Each bowl weighs 510 g, and they can be stacked.

What can I use them for?

For breakfast cereal or yoghurt, soups, creamy soups, pasta, small salads or desserts. As they're non-porous, they don't absorb smells or flavours.

Can they go in the oven, the microwave and the freezer?

Yes. They withstand -20 °C to 300 °C and can go in the fridge, the freezer, the microwave and the oven. Just avoid sudden changes in temperature, such as going straight from the freezer into a hot oven.

Can they be used on the hob?

No, the ceramic is for the oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. For cooking on the hob or on induction, there are Staub's cast iron cocottes, which match them beautifully on the table.

Why is there a stork in the Staub logo?

Because the stork is the symbol of Alsace, Staub's home. For centuries it nested on the roofs of the region's half-timbered houses; it almost disappeared and has since been brought back. It stands for good luck and family, and in Alsace they say it protects the house where it builds its nest.

What warranty do they have?

30 years against manufacturing and material defects. They're also dishwasher safe.
