To make this cotton candy at home with this amazing machine, you only need sugar or hard candy . If you want your cotton candy to be extra colorful, you can add a few drops of food coloring to the sugar and mix it well.

How Ariete's Cotton Candy Machine Works

• Make sure the turntable and bowl are clean and dry and place them back into place.
• Turn the appliance on using the power button and allow it to heat up for the required amount of time . If you are making cotton candy with hard candy, at least 2 minutes, and if you are making it with sugar, at least 5 minutes.
• Turn off the machine and use the measuring spoon to add the indicated amount (if you use sugar, it will be a tablespoon or 2 small hard candies).
  
• Put the machine back into operation.
• When the first threads of cotton candy begin to appear, pick them up with the cone by holding it vertically, while turning it with your fingers until it is.
• When you have finished making your cotton candy, allow the turntable to cool before cleaning it.

NOTE: Always use the measuring spoon when adding sugar to the machine to avoid burns. If using sweets, use small ones or cut up the ones you have and place them on both sides of the turntable.
