With its curved design, the glass bottle Optima by Luigi Bormioli is not only attractive but also very practical and elegantly designed. It is intended for use with milk, water, wines, and juices, although you can use it for any other beverage or soft drink (it’s even perfect for storing gin).

They are made in Italy, from high-quality glass that is very resistant to breakage, and are perfect both for serving at the table and for storing drinks in the fridge.
  • 750ml bottle, with an "Acqua" (water) indicator on the glass, and an elegant yet ergonomic design for a perfect grip.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The bottles come without a cap (originally designed to be filled and served directly at the table, not for storage), but you can purchase the glass stopper sold separately, a stopper that works for this bottle as well as many others on the market or from the same Luigi Bormioli brand.

    History of Luigi Bormioli

The story of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (over 100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glass, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first domestic jar suitable for pasteurization, a kitchen essential worldwide (a name that today is as popular in Italy as lollipops are among kids).

Meanwhile, in 1946, in the same historic Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glass by combining Italian artisanal tradition with the most advanced technology to offer pieces of exceptional design. In 2017, both brands united their legacy under Luigi Bormioli, establishing themselves as a global reference in glassware, exporting to more than 100 countries and keeping alive their commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
