The Lodge Glass Lid with Silicone Knob is ideal for cooking with a view of the inside of your pot or saucepan without having to remove the lid. Because it's transparent, you don't need to lift the lid, which helps retain heat, aromas and steam from cooking , reducing energy consumption and cooking time , and taking advantage of that steam to make the results much more tender and tasty .
The lid is made of tempered glass and features a stainless steel trim . The knob is made of heat-resistant silicone. The lid is heat-resistant up to 200°C and is dishwasher safe. You can use it to cook with your Lodge cast iron cookware, such as the Lodge cast iron cocotte or Lodge cast iron skillet .
