Designed in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti, this coffee maker has become a favourite among coffee lovers all over the world. Since the first Moka Express by Bialetti, there have been a few changes. The design has been refined while maintaining the original octagonal shape, and it continues to be a brilliant ally for making the best coffee.
The body of the Moka Express by Bialetti is made from aluminium, and the handle and knob are made from thermoplastic material to prevent burns during handling. It's recommended to wash the coffee maker by hand, but don't worry – it's very easy to clean, even the safety valve can be restored to like-new condition with minimal effort.
You can use the Moka Express by Bialetti on any heat source except induction hobs. If you have one, you’ll need the Bialetti induction plate adapter and you’ll be good to go.
