If you love spaghetti, macaroni, or a good plate of ravioli, the WMF Profi Plus Pasta Pot will be your best kitchen companion. This Set of three piecesis a traditional pastaiola, and includes a tall pot, a lid, and a pot with holes, serving as a colander or steamer basket, ideal for preparing, boiling, and draining pasta once cooked.

It is a very versatile pot, perfect for your pasta recipes, as well as for steaming your healthiest dishes or delicious desserts, for cooking legumes or making broth very practically, using the perforated basket to save time when draining; or with the pot alone without the steamer prepare your best vegetable creams or stewed lentils.

Made of Cromargan® 18/10 stainless steel, its TransTherm diffuser base guarantees fast heating and very efficient cooking. You'll have your pasta ready in no time and it's very easy to use:

  • Heat the water in the cooking pot without exceeding the maximum limit indicated by the inner mark and cover it.
  • Place the pasta you want to cook in the perforated basket and set it aside until the water boils.
  • When the water is boiling, remove the lid and carefully lower the pot with holes into the pot with water. Do it slowly to avoid splashing.
  • When you see the water boiling again, reduce the heat so it continues to simmer gently.
  • Stir the pasta lightly with a wooden spoon to keep it loose.
  • When the pasta is al dente or at your preferred cooking point, turn off the heat.
  • Carefully remove the perforated pot, moving it slightly to drain the water as much as possible. You can add a little cold water to the pot before lifting the pasta to lower the water temperature a bit.

Once the pasta is drained, just pair it with the sauce you prepared and enjoy a delicious dish. A pastaiola that is very efficient and practical, perfect for cooking long pasta without breaking it.
