Pretty and practical, the 400 ml "Quattro Stagioni" Bottle by Bormioli Rocco is an ideal container for both your homemade preserves or sauces, as well as for carrying your juices, smoothies or soft drinks in your bag or backpack or savoring them on the go. in the park or enjoy a day at the beach.

This bottle with a lid is a perfect container to always have your preserves ready. Its mouth is very wide , which allows you to pour sauces, broths, vegetable creams or vegetable purées that you want to have in the pantry very comfortably and safely.

Like the popular Quattro Stagioni jars, the lid is specifically designed for your home preserves . Its interior has a rubber gasket, softer and more elastic than that of common bottles, which allows air to escape when boiling, creating a vacuum and adhering to the glass. The flexible part of the capsule in the center lowers, ensuring the vacuum for a long time.

Characteristic:

  • Very resistant and highly transparent glass bottle.
  • Suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
  • Fridge safe and can go in the microwave without a lid.
  • Lids are not microwave or dishwasher safe and must be hand washed.
  • The lids are replaceable to guarantee the vacuum process in each new preserve.
  • Bottle height: 15.55 cm.
  • Capsule diameter: 56 mm.

It is also a very practical bottle to take with you everywhere . It's small and you can leave it in the fridge or freezer chilling your favorite drink before leaving home or heat it up in the microwave just by removing the lid. And its wide mouth allows you to drink comfortably.

NOTE: The Quattro Stagioni jars have been undisputed leaders in Italy for generations in their specialty, making preserves. The rubber seal of its lid guarantees a complete and total adherence to the glass, ensuring the perfect vacuum of the preserve. Once the jar is opened and the vacuum is lost, the lid can no longer be used for a new preserve, but it is suitable for keeping the jar closed. In that case, if you use it simply to close and not create a vacuum, keep in mind that, being so thin, the lid can be damaged by use and friction, or rust may appear in contact with water (to avoid this, dry it well). To make preserves repeatedly, you can buy the loose lids in packs, without having to buy the jar.

The history of Luigi Bormioli

The story of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (over 100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glass, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first domestic jar suitable for pasteurization, a kitchen essential worldwide (a name that today is as popular in Italy as lollipops are among kids).

Meanwhile, in 1946, in the same historic Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glass by combining Italian artisanal tradition with the most advanced technology to offer pieces of exceptional design. In 2017, both brands united their legacy under Luigi Bormioli, establishing themselves as a global reference in glassware, exporting to more than 100 countries and keeping alive their commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
