Peugeot grinder made in France with beech wood and stainless steel mechanism. Includes Peugeot's u'Select system to easily choose the coarseness of the pepper or salt (from simply crushed to the finest grind).

Peugeot grinders are made with stainless steel mechanisms with a lifetime warranty. The pepper mechanism is equipped with a double row of helical teeth that capture the grains, pull them down, and lock them to grind them perfectly. The salt mechanism is designed to grind dry coarse salt. Made of stainless steel, it is protected against salt corrosion.

The wood used by Peugeot is PEFC certified (responsible management) and comes from forests in eastern France. Additionally, leftover wood is recycled and the paints used are solvent-free.

Height: 18 cm.

History of Peugeot

Peugeot was founded in France in 1810 as a manufacturer of iron tools. In 1840 it introduced its first coffee grinder and in 1874 it manufactured its first pepper mill. Always linked to iron, it would not take many years before it began to manufacture bicycles and also cars.

Today, PSP Peugeot is the company that makes the pepper mills that have become a reference for chefs and gourmets around the world. Its logo features the lion that has symbolised the quality of Peugeot products since 1850: the strength of the teeth, their precision and speed.

PSP Peugeot is based in Quingey, in the east of France (close to the Swiss border). It employs 130 people who design and manufacture the mills in their facilities using traditional methods: the wood is turned, varnished or painted; the mechanisms are meticulously assembled by hand.
